Five minutes from Manly beach, in a light-industrial block shared with mechanics and martial arts studios, Robert Wynne blows glass from a furnace running at 1280°C. The process runs from raw batch — sand, sodium, potash — through iridising with silver oxide and tin, to cold finishing by sandblast and engraving. Two separate shops keep the frenetic and the meditative apart.
