A genuine 1885 coaching inn at the centre of Bungendore, built by William Daniel Winter — who fired the 20,000 bricks himself the year the railway came to town. Twenty-six rooms across the heritage complex, plus Flock restaurant and Cafe Woodworks (next to where the Bungendore Wood Works Gallery sat for forty years). Cobb & Co coaches changed horses here on the run between Sydney and Cooma. Richard Graham has been restoring the property since 2016.
