Californian-born Justin Turner moved to Tasmania, married into a farming family, and founded this Tamar Valley distillery in 2018. Fifteen minutes from Launceston, it produces small-batch gin, vodka and whisky using water drawn from the North and South Esk river confluence. Tours run regularly; the Three Cuts Gin range is the thing to start with.
