Every Saturday since 2012 a Cimitiere Street carpark fills with about ninety stallholders — a not-for-profit run by a volunteer board, working to Australian Farmers' Markets Association guidelines with a curation process deciding who gets a stall. Primary producers of meat, seafood and vegetables are actively recruited. It runs 8.30 to 12.30, rain, hail or shine, and Launceston chefs shop it.
