Coast House Tasmania
Bruny Island, TAS
A private peninsula on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, ten minutes from Cygnet. The point was named in 1792 by a French admiral searching for the missing La Pérouse — two hundred years later, John and Judi bought the land they'd been sailing past for years and commissioned a house inspired by the region's apple sheds. Won National MBA awards in 2015. Orchards, vegetable gardens, a boat shed, and the whole property exclusively yours. Fifty-five minutes from Hobart, but you won't want to leave.
