Two Gippsland mates who first tasted European beer properly in their twenties, Mike and Rohan shipped a secondhand brewing kit from just outside Auckland in 2005 and set up in a former tannery-turned-antique-shop at the gateway to the Yarra Valley. The core range — Pilsner, Golden Ale, Pale Ale, Porter — still runs from that original kit, now in Moorabbin, while a nano-brewery on site turns out seasonal batches.
