Claire Pirau and Sevan Guzel met working in Darwin city kitchens, then set up this café at the surf club on the Casuarina Coastal Reserve. The name is French for "from the beach", and the menu leans on Pirau's Belgian background and Guzel's Turkish roots, built on local and organic produce. Seating runs to beanbags, hammocks and umbrellas under the trees. Friday nights bring local wild-caught barramundi and chips; Sundays bring live music.
