CANBERRA WINE DISTRICT, JEIR, NEW SOUTH WALES

Canberra Wine District, Jeir, New South WalesOpen Mon, Thu–Sun 10am–5pm · seasonalGet Directions

Greg Gallagher has been making wine since graduating with an oenology degree in 1977, and the cellar door at Jeir reflects that depth — tastings are led by the winemakers themselves, paired with house-made cheeses and zucchini pickles. At $15 a head, it's a serious wine-and-cheese pairing in a region that rewards the detour.
