Kilmore HistoricalSociety Museum

Housed in Kilmore's old post office on Powlett Street, this volunteer-run society has been documenting Victoria's oldest inland town since at least 1964. Research rooms open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday — modest hours that reward the committed. The kind of place where a question about a WWI soldier can spark years of correspondence, and often does.
