Mac Forbes has been farming the Yarra Valley since 2004 across four distinct sites — grey loamy clay at Woori Yallock, volcanic red soils at Hoddles Creek, north-facing mudstone at Gladysdale — each coaxing different structure and perfume from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Chenin Blanc. The wines are site studies as much as they are bottles.
