Seventeen hectares of undulating ground on the edge of Orange, planted with native and exotic collections that run from a heritage orchard and rose garden to woodland. Two billabongs anchor the lower slopes, with Bert Flugelman's stainless-steel Federation Arch sculpture standing between them, and the Country Walk route threads through woodland, homestead-style gardens and past a sundial. The gardens are a reliable birdwatching spot in a city better known for its orchards and cool-climate vineyards.
