After-dark wildlife runs into northeast Tasmania's bush are the signature here, the 'Quoll Patrol', where headlamps pick out eastern quolls, pademelons, Forester kangaroos, wombats, possums and wallabies as the nocturnal world stirs. Private, small-group tours also chase birdlife across wetlands, beaches and forest, and hunt for the platypus in quiet water.
