Henri Nieuhoff trained as a furniture maker in Holland before settling in Tasmania in 1974. His son Michael now runs the Launceston factory and showroom, where a workforce carrying 200 years of combined cabinet-making experience builds furniture from Tasmanian timber on-site. Stressless Norwegian recliners round out the range. The apprentice programme keeps running; 20% of the floor is women.
