Angelo Diletti moved his family to Albany in 1980 for a nursing directorship and ended up planting vines on an east-facing slope of the Porongurup Range. His son Rob — trained at Grosset and Mountadam, and named James Halliday's inaugural Winemaker of the Year in 2015 — now runs the 55-hectare estate. Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the benchmarks.
