City Park Radio runs this small museum from the former caretaker's cottage just inside the gates of Launceston's City Park, where the volunteer-staffed community station has broadcast since 1986. More than fifty domestic sets from the early 1930s onward fill the display cabinets, among them Astor, AWA, Kriesler and His Master's Voice, a few steps from working studios you can watch broadcast live. The cottage is more than a century old; the wisteria outside is reckoned the oldest in Australia. Entry is by gold coin, with hour-long tours on weekdays.
