Geologist-turned-winemaker Peter Young chose this Mount Camel site after reading a geology map and finding a fault line running through it — the Silver Spoon, namesake of a nearby abandoned gold-era mine. The estate runs off-grid, grows Shiraz, Viognier, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Tempranillo, and pours at a cellar door and bistro completed in 2021.
