Mary Wallace has been throwing pots for 40 years. At her Kentdale property outside Denmark, she works in two distinct modes: wheel-thrown tableware — casseroles, plates, bowls born from her own cooking — and finely carved porcelain glazed in celadon, currently drawing on Western Australian flora. In cooler months, pit-fired pieces smoulder under sawdust for days, the smoke leaving its own mark. Open Friday to Monday.
